表示某個具體日子
1）on Octorber the 3rd 1980 1980年10月3日

表示星期
1）on Sunday 在星期天

表示某天的早中晚（與in the morning 不同）
1）on Saturday afternoon 星期六下午

表示在什麼物體之上

表示地點和位置，有在旁邊之意
